It is an entrepreneur-driven platform, which bridges the gap between government and education. Knowledge is therefore actively shared with students to strengthen their employment prospects. The Living Lab is cross-sectoral and closely linked to the high-tech, manufacturing, biobased, energy, retail and other sectors. Every innovation project must make a substantial contribution to making the logistics chain more sustainable. Thijs Logistiek provides consumers with pleasure by offering a fine-grained city and regional distribution within 24 hours in the Benelux. They transport packages, pallets of normal, length, oversized goods or hazardous substances. Thijs Logistiek was one of the first to map this out with their ABCO2 tool. As a result, it is not just a measurement that is done.<\/p>\n<p>The tool shows the kilometers traveled per shipment from the warehouse of Thijs Logistiek. The weight, volume and loading meter of the shipment are then converted into a rate weight. With the DHB network they transport the goods destined for a specific region to a distribution center. Here they receive shipments for their own region from other companies, who have delivered their goods to the distribution center in the same way. This network extends throughout the Benelux. Another network is Team Trans that they work with.<\/p>\n<p>This has made it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 30%!
